ABHINAV BINDRA!!!!!

Can we give a brother a hand for winning the gold at the Olympics in the 10m air rifle event. Prior to the 25 year old's victory, India had only won four individual medals, none of them gold, since sending their first team to the Summer Games in 1928. India is a force to be reckoned with in the Olympics. This time it is the 10m air rifle, next time it may very well be men's basketball. Okay, that might be a bit ambitious but how about men's badminton!!!

1.1 billion people and only 1 gold medal to show for it. Seems a bit strange that such a large country that has enough potential resources to groom athletes can't develop more world-class athletes. Seems like kids there are spending too much time trying to be the next Bollywood star rather than the next great Badminton champion.

It's either Bollywood OR computers over there.

Training and developing athletics would only promote better looking people leading the ugly people to want to emulate those people and date those people; thus, perpetuating the movement to the western world which would be fought vigorously by the older generation and then you would be left with mass chaotica! 1.1 billion people in chaotica would be varitable nightmare.

Cows sleeping in the streets, the pervasive stench of B.O., sweltering heat, overwhelming poverty, buses overflowing with hundreds of passengers, nuclear arms races with radical neighboring countries...Mass chaotica!!!

Wait...that's how it is now.

Congrats to Mr. Bindra. He's a national hero in the land of chaos.
