CEAFOD playoffs - first round

Looks like most of the higher seeds took care of business this week.

Robs handled me pretty easily as did #4 seed JSR. Those two will face next week and should be an interesting game as JSR is largely Packer loaded so as they succeed/fail, so does he. Packers face the lowly Chiefs next week so could be a difficult game for #1 seed Robs.

Scott took care of Deepie pretty easily and Scott looks to be peaking at the right time and will be looking to do his best to make amends for his early exit last season.

In the one upset, #2 seed Mark's Maniacs will fall to the BX Warriors and their 5-7-1 record. That should give Scott a favorable matchup next week against the Warriors. The Final Four should be interesting.

My team is taking this one game at time. We are maintaining business as usual as anything can happen. But all that being said, we will of course watch how JSR and Robs do next week. I'm actually pulling for Robs as it seems only proper for him to reach the championship game after leading the whole season. Sorry JSR.

Was interesting yesterday as the Packers seemed to be rolling it up there in the first half. They were up 31-0 and still trying to pass for a TD inside the Raiders 10 yard line nearing half time.

This week they have the lowly Chiefs and that could spell trouble for Robs as the Packers offense should have plenty of opportunities. Maybe it will be really cold and will be tough to pass.

Congrats to all those that advanced.

The weakness I have is at running back. Darren McFadden might return this week and so will Adrian Peterson. The past few weeks Ive been getting by on Micheal Bush and Toby Gerhart. They usually account for about 30 points together. That wont matter if the Packers keep their foot on the accelerator. I might even be able to get by with Ryan Grant now and D. Williams.

The Packers have killer instinct. They are not going to slow down even if they are up 31-0. It would be a mistake to slow down at any point because in the playoffs teams play at a higher intensity so they have to maintain that level of play going in. Aaron Rodgers finished the game in the third quarter. Had he stayed in the game and threw for another 2 TD I might have ended up with 200 points.

Go Pack Go!
