Cutler says he can't last the way things are

After being sacked 11 times in the season's first two games, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler said Wednesday he's unsure he can last the season at this pace.

"I don't know," Cutler said in a raspy voice, the result of a kick to the throat early in the third quarter of Sunday's 30-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints. "I don't know."

I don't blame the guy. He's been abused last season and can expect more of the same this season. I'm sure he hates it particularly coming from Denver where he was rarely hit.

There's no question Clay Matthews and Co. will be coming after Cutler. They are ranked 4th in sacks and if Cutler gets hit early, he will tune out. It's a tough predicament to be in. The Pears only hopes are to run and be successful at it and/or set up short screens to other people besides Forte.

Losing Gay Creamy doesn't help an already shaky O-line. Jay George couldn't finish the NFC Championship game because of injury. That injury wasn't necessarily a direct result of an O-line screw up, but the injuries add up and a weak O-line isn't helping.

Good luck to Jay. If he goes down though, the real Jeff George is lobbying for a job and could step right in.

Now that would be a story. Jay Cutler goes down and the original Jay Cutler, Jeff George, steps in and proceeds to screw everything up but he blames everyone except himself including the water boy.

Too bad about Gay Creamy. At least you have Omygolly to step in. Good luck with all of that, Pear fan!

I expect my boy Clay Matthews to finish off Gay Cutler and for what its worth, the Bears season this weekend... The guy is the true definition of "relentless". Saints beating the Bears 30-13... I believe the Packers will win 45-6,
