Yesterday afternoon, my son wanted to race me. He has been wanting to do this for some time. I finally gave him the opportunity yesterday. I gave him a head start and when the began, I thought I was going to explode off the line and catch him easily. Instead, it felt like I had a rope with a parachute plus a 45 lb. weight tied around my waist. I was surprised at how slow I felt I was going. On top of that, a few steps into the sprint, I felt a tug in my groin and had to pull up with a pulled groin. PATHETIC!!!
I am slow and I got hurt. It's a sad realization to the fact that I am getting older. I cried myself to sleep last night and woke up with red puffy eyes.

The truth is that you had the head start and your son was passing you, so you "conveniently" pulled up. Then you blamed the injury rather than take the humiliating loss. It's OK, you can admit it.
Actually, the truth is that I had the head start and he beat me but then I claimed he cheated. We ended up getting into a big argument over it. I challenged him to a fight and he agreed and then immediately kicked me as hard as he could right in the nuts. I started crying and he walked home. That is how I injured myself. OH THE HUMANITY!!!
