Caps vs. Devils tonight

Huge game tonight. Winnipeg did the Caps a favor last night by demolishing the Panthers. Florida is now tied in number of games played with the Caps and they hold a 3 point lead on us. However, the Jets win propelled them into the 8th seed and bounced us out to the 9th seed. A win for us tonight would put us back into the 8th seed and one point out of first in the division (and the #3 seed in the conference).

The Devils are reeling having lost 4 in a row and played Boston last night. We are playing at home and are riding a 3 game win streak.

Neuvy has been playing well and we are coming off of an improbably 3-2 OT victory against the Islanders. It was a lucky/good win but what will be more interesting is if we use that game to propel us forward. That was the type of emotional game that can lift a team. It's going to be important to get momentum and the fans back behind this team moving forward. Tonight's game does have a playoff feel to it. Frankly, with 19 games to go and with the shifting in seeds over the last couple of weeks, every game is important from here on out.

The Caps came into this season as a Cup contender and that was for a reason. We need to really rally and show that we have the ability to be that team. The main thing is to get into the playoffs and there everyone starts 0-0 and anything can happen.

LETS GO CAPS!!!

Huge game. I'm very interested. Let's see if they can keep things going.

The Caps stink - there is no way around it. The stinker they played on Friday was embarrassing. Then, in a game they had to have last night they played OK but got shut out for the second consecutive home game.

The benching of Ovie shows something - he is just not with the Dale Hunter program.
