Finished Keg

So I was pleasantly surprised to have finished my keg of Miller Lite last night. Lite is a fine beer but it is pretty pedestrian. It's good if you plan on pounding them but the taste is common. Need something bolder and more complex for the occasional beer that you want to enjoy.

Not sure what is available over at Total Wine. While I have yet to taste it, I may go with Deepie's option and get the Sam Adams Alpine Spring. I like Sam's products particularly their summer ale and the Spring is supposed to be a good transition from winter beers to summer.

I will keep you posted.

I've got some Alpine Spring at home - solid beer, and it would be a solid choice.

I am also into Blue Moon with the orange slice added. It is a full body, hearty beer that goes down smooth and works well with the citric acid from the orange. It is not light - but it is refreshing.

I like Blue Moon. That may be an option. The orange slice really makes a difference.

Will keep you posted.

I too finished my keg this weekend. I was sad to see that the Alpine Spring had finished, but I'm eager to make my next choice.

I think I'll be going with the Fat Tire. I've never tried it, but people have suggested it to me a number of times. Rob's Blue Moon is 2nd on my list right now - also a solid choice and a beer that I really enjoy.
