It's almost here. Strange because the season will be upon us before we know it. First, training camp and then the preseason games and then the regular season where the Skins will be playing on national tv on Sunday night against the Cowgirls. I get moist just thinking about it.
Obviously the big story going into training camp is how Haynesworth will fit in. He has an opportunity to make amends so we'll see what he does. The side stories are McNabb and Shanny. The team/organization seems to have rallied behind both and there does seem like there is an aura of order and professionalism now. Frankly, last year was an embarrassment. I was embarrassed to be a fan so we can only go up after suffering through last year. It's going to be fun.

It would be nice if McNabb gets an extension prior to the Cowgurls game. I hope the Haynesworth issue goes away after Thursday. He doesn't need to be a team spokesman. Just prepare during the week, play hard in the games and be a good teammate. If it will make any difference to his psychie, let him run the ball on the goal line to score some td's.
One way or another, I think the Haynesworth situation will go away quickly. I don't Shanny will put up with any b.s. Either Haynesworth will conform to the system/team/coaches and play where he is told or he will not and Shanny will tell him to go home.
That situation is obviously the story going into training camp and Shanny is smart enough to know that you cannot have one guy bring down what everyon else is trying to accomplish. Also, the more headache it is on the field, the more headache it will be off the field as reporters will turn it into even more of a soap opera than it has already become.
Best to just resolve this situation early on in camp. Either he conforms or he doesn't.
Speaking of camps, did Rob make JKSD pick up his jockstrap and put it in the laundry as a means to haze him when JKSD played soccer as a freshman at Marshall? Did JKSD refuse like Dez Bryant?
