Reports are that the guy has lost 32 lbs. Maybe the guy actually got in better shape. Was listening to Redskin LB Chris Hart who is a 12 year vet and understands the 3-4 defense and he seemed to be indicating that Albert shouldn't really knock the defense until he sees it.
Haynesworth has work to do when he arrives at training camp - both on and off the field. He needs to make amends with his teammates and coaches and then also needs to start to learn the defense. If he comes back and plays with some commitment, it will all work out but if he comes back and just slacks off and complains, he will have issues.
Stay tuned.

On a different point, that MF-er Chris Henry of the Titans says he's going to sit out if he doesn't get a new contract. He was signed as a rookie in 2008 and received a $12m contract. He obviously received a hefty signing bonus and is now complaining about only getting paid $550k in this year of the contract. Clearly, he has had a great two years, but he signed a five year rookie contract. I don't think the organization should bend on this. Let him sit out. Maybe he'll cut his hair cause he looks like a girl.
$550K is peanuts. Life span for a RB is very limited so I am not surprised that he wants to a new contract. The guy has shown that he is arguably the best RB in the league and wants to be compensated.
What I don't like is when a guy signs a big contract only to ask to renegotiate a couple years later. That is what is frustrating.
Losing 32 pounds means he's still in the 320-350 range. I guess a guy needs to be about that heavy in a 3-4 to play NT, but if he wants to move to the end, he needs to be around 300-315 max.
Part of me says I hope he's in great shape and he's motivated and ready to play. On the other hand, I really wouldn't mind seeing him humiliated and sent packing. I guess it all depends on what happens when he shows up at camp. I bet he gets booed by the fans when practice is open to the public.
He'll be booed and there will be trust/confidence issues with him from his teammates and coaches but he can quickly make amends by coming out and playing hard.
If he slacks off and/or complains, it will not help his cause.
