CAA rules!

Rule number one at the beginning of every NCAA tourney, ALWAYS pick the CAA team. We always win the opening round despite being the lower seed.

Today, ODU plucked off #6 seeded Notre Dame. The CAA is solid conference and is deserving of more than one team in the tourney.

Good for ODU; however, it was painfully obvious the other night that W&M, who was close to beating ODU in the CAA final, could not match up with the size or athletic prowess of the more basketball focused school (UNC), who can recruit that certain "type of athlete" that would not survive at a more challenging academic institution. The only reason that W&M was able to do as well as it did this year was that it had a different style of play then most teams that caught teams off guard.

Anything can happen on a neutral court as GMU proved several years ago. The CAA is a good conference that doesn't get enough respect, but the CAA also didn't do well in those games against the other mid-major conferences that occured near the end of the season.
