Shanny said that the Redskins will tender JC an offer before the start of free agency on March 5. Although, he didn't go so far as to say that JC will be the starter.
GREAT NEWS!!! I would love to see JC play with a real coach and a solid O line in front of him. Regarding the Skins taking a QB with their pick, it could just be Shanny not wanting to show his cards to other teams.
Whatever. We'll see who we take with the pick but for now, I am glad that the Skins will make an effort to try and keep Campbell.

It's funny how despite the fact that JC played under HOFer Joe Gibbs, he'll now be playing for a real coach. Unfortunately, you're right. Gibbsy V2.0 was a shell of himself and was essentially a Danny Boy puppet. He didn't make JC's development any easier by bringing in Al Saunders as OC.
I hope Shanny can take JC's game up a few notches. It will be interesting to see.
