He is no longer a Charger. He is on the downside of his career. He might have another year or two as a serviceable situational back but that's about it. He'll get picked up and will excite the fans with the signing and vow to be awesome but it'll be clear he isn't the guy he used to be.
Good luck, LT.

I'd like to see him on the Bears. I think he can probably squeeze out two productive years.
He'd hate the cold and struggle in the cold and behind that line.
Forte would be angry at the lack of faith and playing time as well.
Good luck, Bear fan!
He might struggle in the cold, but I doubt Forte would be angry. You need two strong backs in the NFL to win consistently.
The bigger question is can LT still play? I think he has got a few miles left in him.
I doubt LT would sign with the Bears anyway - he is going to want to play for a team that can win it all right now. He'll look to New England or Philly - teams like that.
Again, LT probably thinks he has more in the tank than he actually does. He will want to prove the Chargers wrong. He will excite the fans but once he gets out there, he will realize his body just can't do what his mind is telling it to do. He will be okay but nothing like what he was.
