Jamison to the Cavs

Mixed feelings on this one. Jamison was the consummate professional. He was an All Star player but he was equally important in his role as a leader. It's tough to see him leave but at the same time, it made no sense to keep him. He is a 33 year old guy that still has a couple of years of solid productivity in him and Le Boulez are in the midst of rebuilding. No sense in keeping him around for the Wizards sake and they did him right by trading him to their arch rival Cavs so he has a chance to win a championship.

Seemed like a pretty good trade as we got some young talent and the Cavs 1st round draft pick this coming year. Wish Jamison luck and hope he wins the championship. He deserves it.

The sad thing is, all of these trades were triggered (no pun intended) by Gilbert and his guns fiasco. And now there is at least a possibility that the Wiz will retain Gil and rebuild around him. It's a shame that good guys like Caron and Antawn were forced out.

Jamison is nearing the end of his career, so it's good to see him go somewhere where he has a chance at a championship. The Cavs now have their 2nd scoring option and a very unselfish player to boot. I'm a Cavs fan for the rest of this season...I hope Jamison gets his trophy.

I am happy for Antawn and I think this was a great move for the Cavs. I hope LeBron beats Kobe in the finals.

As for the Wiz, they really need a bunch of younger guys who are exciting to watch and who Flip can mold.

I doubt they will rebuild around Gil. I think they will look to move him, but may end up just outright releasing him.

Keeping with the trigger theme, the trades were locked and loaded prior to Gilbert's antics. The team was a big disappointment all year. Gil's antics were the ultimate trigger but it was probably best to blow the whole thing up and start anew. After an encouraging beginning, the Big 3 never really materialized over the years. One of them was always injured and it was always wait until we get all three of them on the court together. It just never really took shape.

Glad for Jamison. Hope he pulls it out this year. Would probably be happy for Lebron as well. Would be ecstatic if they did it over Kobe with Lebron getting the game seven last second victory with a slam right over Kobe Bean landing on top of his head thus having Bean's head insert itself up Lebron's rectum causing Bean to run around frantically all over the court which will only add to the mass bedlam as the crowd rushes the court and King James is hoisted above everyone being "shuttled" all over the place by a frantic Bean.

NBA...where the unthinkable happens...
