NFL Draft - Redskins and Dirty Sanchez

Alright, I am getting worried. The draft is this coming Saturday and the more I tune in, the more I hear about Snyder loving Sanchez and wanting to go after him (Peter King has a good article on this http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/04/20/draft/index.html?bcnn=yes>). This scares me. Not only do we not need a QB but there is no guarantee with Sanchez. He really doesn't have much experience, he plays in a weaker conference, and he plays on USC where they are talent rich. Not to mention that we will have to trade up to get Sanchez meaning we will have to give up draft picks.

I am very concerned about this and am hoping that we do the right thing and go either O line or D line

When they pick Sanchez, will you not agree with me that Snyder is a Dick who doesn't have any f'ing clue what he is doing?

Will you not also agree with me that until the Redskins hire a GM - I am not talking about knee-pad wearing Vinny - I am talking about someone who actually knows football and does not do the bidding of Danny Boy - they will continue to be mediocre at best?

I am not asking you to quit loving the Redskins, I am asking you whether you agree that you are doomed as long as Danny Boy calls the shots.

I have always said that we needed a GM.

If we take Sanchez, I will be very disappointed. It will also be pretty telling how much Danny Boy influences/makes the football decisions and that will be upsetting. I know Danny Boy has had input but I have always assumed Gibbs and others were primary decision makers when it came to personnel decisions. Not to say that Gibbs was great at that.

As mentioned, I will be very disappointed with the pick of Sanchez.

OK, I assume your response means that you agree that the Redskins will never be more than average with Danny Boy at the helm.

I won't go that far. If it is true that he is the ultimate decision maker on personnel decisions and stays that way for his entire tenure, then we will struggle. However, if the entire team/organization makes the decision and feels like it is in the best interest of the team, I am more open to the decisions made. I also have faith in the players and coaches we have to do well so again, I won't go so far as to say that we "will never be more than average with Danny Boy at the helm."

OK, but this is just the latest example of Danny Boy's nonsense that I believe is the reason for the Redskins' failures over his entire tenure.
