Dirty Sanchez a Skin?

So on Kiper's latest mock draft, he has Mark Sanchez going to the Skins at pick #13. If this happened, it would be very upsetting. Not just because I am a JC fan and think he is deserving of being the #1 QB and proving that he can be a franchise QB but more importantly, we have other pressing needs (OT, DE, LB). The Skins have taken the position of drafting the best player regardless of position on the draft board but I don't like that. We have some specific needs that need to be addressed. If all of their primary options are taken by pick #13, trade down for more picks. Do NOT pick Sanchez. College QBs are hit or miss in the first round. You have to pay top dollar for them and you never know what you are going to get. Sanchez has only started 16 collegiate games and he has been the beneficiary of having the most talented team in the country. Now he may very well end up being good but the Skins should not even be entertaining the thought of drafting the guy based on our needs.

Well, draft day is less than 2 weeks away so we'll find out who goes where.

I doubt they will take him. It is a bit odd that there is so much buzz about him going to the 'Skins. Danny Boy went to USC himself to hold private workouts with some of the players and it was reported a couple of weeks ago that he fell in love with Sanchez and spent a lot of time looking at him/working him out.

I hope they do take Sanchez. Just seeing the look on your face would be priceless. Maybe you will then agree with me that as long as Danny Boy runs the Redskins they will never really accomplish anything.

It's fine to go to USC as he probably went to look at their two outstanding LBs. Fine, if he got a glimpse of Sanchez just as long as he doesn't act on that.

I can appreciate Snyder's passion. However, I am not a huge fan of the guy. My allegiance is with the coaches and players on the team. They are the ones that strap it up and play on Sunday and they give me reason to believe we can be good.

But the owner keeps dragging them down - and he is the boss.

It is pretty clear that the guy who writes the checks doesn't like Campbell - he certainly does not believe in him.

We'll see what they do and if it matters to JC. But the idea that Sanchez is an upgrade to JC seems laughable to me.

Sanchez is showing up Friday and Saturday to meet with Danny Boy.

I wonder if he will be inviting him to the house to "watch film" with him and Vinny.

I agree that JC has to prove that he is the franchise QB. I think he can do it. I like that he has this year to show it. I think JC likes that he has an opportunity to show it. However, if he doesn't, he probably should not be signed to the long term deal and we will have to start looking for another option. I just don't like that we are entertaining offers now.

I think it is fair to say that Sanchez will be invited to the house. Nothing quite satisfies like a Sanchez sammich.

Danny Boy: Ooohhhhh Sanchez, show me your muscles again as you break down this game tape.

Sanchez: (looking unsure) Uh, sure Mr. Snyder. (Vinny giggling in the background).

This goes on for 14 hours.
