Him landing in Buffalo is a pretty good indication that there probably wasn't a whole lot of interest in the guy. If there was a lot of interest in him, I imagine T.O. would want to go to a big market team that was close to a championship. T.O. loves the spotlight and despite his claim, Buffalo is not North America's team.
I suppose in the end it works out for most everyone. T.O. gets yet another opportunity and Buffalo, who had that difficult season last year where they started out so hot only to fall apart in the end and miss out on the playoffs, gets a star player to excite their fans for the coming year. T.O. gets a one year deal where he typically is a decent teammate in the first year. He will have to be a model player, teammate, and citizen to make sure he gets is one last multiyear/multimillion dollar contract. Even Dallas should be happy for releasing him as they are in the process of cleaning house (T.O., Pacman, R. Williams) in order to get a better locker room atmosphere.
Good luck, T.O. or I should probably say "Good luck, Buffalo." You'll need it.

It was surprising, but it is not a bad deal for Buffalo the more I think about it.
For three years in a row the Bills have been 7-9. No one cares about the Bills and they are probably the weakest team in the AFC East. Why not roll the dice and see what happens. You get him for one year, if he performs that is great, if he doesn't you still end up 7-9.
One thing is for sure, the Bills will now have more interest than they have had in a few years and they will likely find themselves in 1-2 more national TV games.
I like the move for the Bills, although I did not think of them at all when TO was let go in Dallas.
As I mentioned, it kind of works out for everyone so good luck. In some ways I am disappointed because T.O. leaving the Cowboys probably helped them. Classic case of addition by subtraction. It will be interesting to see how the move pays out for all the parties (Bills, Cowboys, T.O., Rosenhaus, Jauron, T. Edwards).
I don't think it really helped the Cowboys. Certainly I am not willing to say it at this point.
Tony Romo has never really shown leadership ability. He smiles and has some good games but has not delivered a playoff victory - in fact he has blown big games for them.
TO has been a playmaker, and we'll see if Roy Williams or Crayton or Sam Hurd can pick up the slack. I wouldn't be surprised if they regress. Of course part of that is because their D isn't very good.
They may have to take a step back to take a step forward. At least they no longer have to deal with arguably the most divisive person in the NFL. At least Tony Romo doesn't have to play the game thinking that he has to get the ball the T.O. 20 times or else T.O. will be chewing him and everyone else out on the sidelines/in the locker room. At least Jason Garrett and Wade Phillips won't have to deal with him second guessing their strategy. Hopefully some of the other vets can create more of a disciplined and cohesive group.
Still, no question they are losing a playmaker and a very talented WR. However, seems to me that the cost of T.O. outweighs the benefits and in the long run the Cowboys are better for letting him go.
Tony Romo needs to get his mind off of how much weight Jessica put on or Jason Whitten's ding dong or whatever and deliver. And, the Cowboys need to draft some guys who can play defense.
Frankly, I think they just used TO as an excuse.
I'm not saying he is not divisive - he most certainly is a weird sideshow. However, I think guys used him as an excuse.
Agree that Tony Romo needs to show something. I think people have been enamored with him but that has worn off and it's time for him to show (if he can) that he is a big time QB that can win big, meaningful games.
I don't think T.O. was an excuse. I think the Cowboys were a circus. It's not all T.O.'s fault but he had a lot to do with it. The guy has proven time and again on multiple teams that he can't get along with teammates/coaches. I believe Romo along with Phillips and Garret and other vets need to take control of this offense and team and run a tighter ship. Sounds like last year they had a bunch of very talented guys but those guys were allowed to do what they want. Allowing that does not set good examples for young guys like Marion Barber. Things need to be more controlled and disciplined and that is what needs to happen.
Again, the Cowboys are less talented going into this year than last and there are question marks on whether guys like Romo, Garret, and Phillips can show true leadership but to me, they have taken steps in the right direction by getting rid of side show malcontents like T.O., Pacman, and Roy Williams.
The Cowgirls are now about the same as the Deadskins. That is saying something.
You have two QBs who are in years where they need to prove themselves.
You could throw the Bears in that as well.
Orton will need to prove himself and frankly all three coaches need to prove themselves this year or they will be out.
Bears have the weakest division so that should help them.
