HOORAY!! We got Wynn and now Daniels all we need now is to bring back Mann, Manley, Mondo, Bam Bam, and Dickie LaRue and we'll be set!
Actually, I am okay with this signing. He is supposed to sign a one year, veteran minimum contract so it doesn't really hurt. He is coming off of knee surgery but he is supposedly 100% so it's not bad. He's a big body that can be pretty effective. We could certainly use a young stud at DE but given that we are really lacking any depth there, the move is good. Daniels and Wynn can be pretty effective on first and second downs and Chris Wilson is good for third and longs.
Will be interesting who we take in the draft at #13. Biggest needs are RG/RT, DE, and outside LB probably in that order.

Adding another stiff to the lot doesn't really make any difference. I think you know that.
I don't think this is some big time signing or anything. However, given our lack of depth at the position coupled with Daniels knowing the system/team and he is signed to just a veteran minimum contract, it was a decent move. Again, I imagine Daniels and Wynn platooning with Wilson and hopefully it will be enough. It worked pretty well a couple of years ago. No question we will need to address that position in the future.
I know, I know. I am just giving you a hard time. Daniels may be able to make a few plays here and there. Wynn is just a waste, but we'll see.
I like this signing due to the low cost/low risk involved. Daniels knows the system and he's a big run stuffer who can get a few sacks here and there. In fact, if the starting D-line is Carter, Haynesworth, Griffin, and Daniels, I think the line will be good to very good.
I agree with JKD's draft priorities for the most part. I think the order is...RT, DE, OLB, RG. I'd love to see us get Andre Smith out of Alabama to play RT. The guy made some mistakes with the combine, but he'll have Samuels, another Alabama guy, to groom him.
