Haugh's latest article for RobsObs

Very complimentary on Dvoracek, the team/organization, and even Rexy. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/askthewriter/cs-070906askhaugh,1,2033013.column?page=1&coll=cs-bears-headlines

You must really love Haugh.

His change of heart probably came from all of the complaints the Trib was getting.

If you are interested, just type in "David Haugh is too negative" and read some of the things Bears say about him. I'm not claiming it proves anything - only that there are quite a few people who think as I do.

I meant to write "Bears fans." Sorry for any confusion.

Here is one particularly funny comment about Haugh's speculative story about the reason for Briggs' accident:

"oh ... i'm sure that Briggs was hammered and i'm sure that David Haugh is going to get to the bottom of it. i'm so sure that i'm willing to bet that he might even forget about Rex Grossman for 30 seconds to go out to the scene of the accident to dig for evidence. he'll likely hound Lovie and Urlacher, maybe even Grossman to see what they have to say about Briggs and his high speed accident ... then by Thursday we'll have a wildly overblown story about how Briggs' actions are a distraction to the Bears and that if they have a bad start to the season that it will be his and even more likely, Grossman's fault, in which he will continue to write story after story why the Bears should give up on Grossman and discipline Briggs."

My view continues to be that David Haugh is often unnecessarily negative toward the Bears. As you like to say JKD, it's not just me who thinks this way.
