Absolutely.

It's tough because I really feel like they have a good thing going with all the pieces (owner, GM, coach, players, staff) and they have all grown together. However, it may be time for more of a disciplinarian.

The one thing that is bothering me is that Boudreau seems to always be tinkering with lines and stuff and at this time of the year, it can be seen as more reactionary and driven by panic. Stay the course.

One thing watching HBO's 24/7 documentary on the Caps/Penguins is that Boudreau always came across as a guy that would get upset and speak the obvious and was basically, "F this! F that!" Whereas, Bylsma I always felt was a bit more inspirational and get the team fired up.

The players are getting older and we may need someone that can get in here and kick some arse.

This team is far too talented to accept being swept by Tampa and losing to Montreal after going up 3-1 in the first round last year.

I think Boudreau is a good coach, but it just does not seem to be working. They are not progressing from where they were 3 years ago.

I agree that Boudreau may be panicking with the line changes. He needs to stay the course and the Caps need to play their game.

Any decent coach could win a lot of games and make the playoffs with the talent that the Caps have. But, greatness comes in the playoffs and that is where the best coaches need to make their money.

For God's sake, it is not even that hard to figure out what the Caps need to do. They need to be physical up front with Roloson. The guy gives up huge rebounds all the time and is a subpar goalie. The Penguins went to 7 against Tampa and they had no scoring punch.

The Caps should be up 3-0 with their offensive talent. They should have had 5-3, 4-2 type playoff blowouts against this team. You cannot fire the players - the coach has to be accountable.

If the Caps win the next two games, then give Boudreau another shot. But if they lose tonight, or lose again in DC on Saturday then Boudreau has got to go.
