Malcolm Kelly is Mr. Glass

This guy bruises like a grape. He just can't seem to stay healthy. He has not played in any preseason games and has hardly participated in training camp because of a pulled hammy. He healed up and took his first practice in weeks yesterday and was looking forward to playing in the last preseason game on Thursday but he pulled the hammy again. This guy is Mr. Glass.

Will be interesting what the Skins do with him. Seems like the options are to either cut him outright or put him on IR for the year. My guess is that since he was a second round pick they will put him on IR.

It's amazing to me that with all of the trainers these teams have that this injury continues to happen. All these guys need to do is eat good food and stretch and this will not happen. I blame MK. Too bad there isn't a minor league football system where this idiot and DT can actually learn how to be a professional before they waste our time any further.

He was a terrible draft pick - I know you love him, but he has a history of these minor injuries.

If it is cheaper to cut him, I would just do that. If it is the same, put him on IR and see what happens next year.

He was projected as a 1st rounder until his knee issues came up just before the draft. He dropped deep into the 2nd round where the Vinny-'Skins took him.

I don't think he was a reach at that point and really don't recall him being considered fragile in college. He was THE big-body receiver in the draft and that's what the 'Skins were looking for.
Regardless, I can agree that he wasn't the smartest pick for the 'Skins considering they had already taken Thomas and Sleepy-Davis in the 2nd round.

He's on the verge of showing nothing for three years now. I say cut him. It's not like he's going to play somewhere else and make us regret giving up on him.

One final thought...We never should have cut Marko Mitchell.

I don't love him. I too find it annoying that the guy can't seem to stay healthy. Not sure if doctors are to blame for getting him out there too early or what but it's ridiculous. He is going to the IR. I believe this will be his second year (in a 3 year pro career) that he will spend on IR.

Again, I don't love him. This is not a Robs/Rexy situation where you would lay your life down for the guy. I would like to see what he is capable of because he has the tools but he is Mr. Glass.

IR baby. Funny thing, his right hamstring works fine. I instantly thought of a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. Maybe MK will have more time to spend with JKSD now.

If you go back and look, MK had some injury issues in college, but his constant complaining really irritated a lot of folks.

He did not run at the Combine because of a bum knee, and then ran at a private workout at OK. He ran a slow 40 and then complained that OK had changed the track surface or his shoes were too tight or whatever. Excuses, excuses.

He has been a bust over his 3 years, not because of his play, but because he cannot stay healthy. He cannot bend down and tie his shoe without tearing a hammy or ripping up his knee.
