Haynesworth passes test and is practicing

Who knows if he actually passed it but I don't really care. At least that saga is over and now he is on the field. By all accounts, he is warming up to the idea of playing on this defense and if that is true I am happy to have him as he is still one of the dominant D lineman in this league when healthy and willing to perform.

If we win games, he'll be motivated. He seems to be the type of player who starts to slack off when things aren't going well...Not exactly leader material, but that's fine. If he's buying into the system and can get siced by the prospects of playing DE every other play, then he'll be a force on the field.

Winning cures everything. When Zorny started out hot a couple of years back, everyone thought he was an untapped genius. Everyone loved his candidness and his corny Hip Hip Hooray stuff.

Once things started going downhill, the very thing that people enjoyed about him they started complaining about them. The Hip Hip Hooray stuff was too corny and the candidness became too much and people felt like he should keep some of that stuff in house.

I think Haynesworth will play and play well. Because he will be held accountable by his coaches and teammates and to a lesser degree even the fans/media. I'm pretty excited about this year just because of all the transition and what appears to be a new found approach where it seems like we are actually building something and doing it with the right people leading the way.
