Haynesworth still not practicing

Curious if Haynesworth is truly hurt and the team feels like it is best to hold him out or if it Haynesworth pouting about feeling like he is being made a scapegoat and protesting. It will be interesting to watch how this thing unfolds. At some point, we need this guy to suit up and get on the field and practice. When healthy and willing, he is a tremendous force. Still, he is a divisive character and his pouting and personality can turn off teammates and coaches and you have to weigh the benefits of his playing versus his personality and driving the team apart. We'll see how this unfolds. The story continues.

I saw a picture of him in the paper pushing a blocking sled. Maybe the knee isn't that bad. Roger Goodell talked with him yesterday and had positive things to say.

I feel like it will all work out and he will be a productive member of the team this year.

It's just unclear right now whether he is earning the trust of his coaches and teammates.

Shanny seems to believe the knee is hurt and seems to be okay with him working on the treadmill and studying on the sidelines and film room.

We'll see.

I'm surprised they haven't done an MRI on his knee. If it's just extra fluid, they should just drain the damn thing. Let the damn person with the stop watch start it late and let him start practicing. This is on too long. He's missing too much time and they are going to lambaste him when he gets torched by the Cowboys in the first game.

His knee isn't hurt. It is hurt like my knee is hurt from jogging each week.

If this were the regular season he would play and play hard.

The thing I don't get is how this is going to end. At some point, Shanny is going to have to give in. It makes little sense to have Albert - who is in pretty go shape - sitting all through practice and then having the coaches practice with him individually.

The latest report from Jason Reid is that it turns out Fat Albert likes the defense and the way Haslett intends to use him. That's great. So all of the drama has been for nothing other than his stupid fat arse was ignorant.

JKSD, it seems as though your blog is getting more attention then we first thought. On my suggestion below, the Skins had Haynesworth's knee MRI'ed and determined that there was no structural damage. Perhaps, they should have listened to my suggestions last year.

Rob, it's ok that you compared your 40+ knee to Haynesworth's 28 year old knee, but don't think that you can compare your tiny Johnson with his.

You would know about "Big Al" seeing how he porks you every other night.

Did Haynesworth forget to wear his knee pads as he was going down on you and tweak his knee?

Actually, it wasn't me, it was JKSD. It turns out that as JKSD was driving my the park to visit his dad, Haynesworth saw him and started to follow him. When they arrived at the parking lot, Haynesworth jumped out of his truck and approached JKSD. JKSD, always ready to receive an autograph, immediately jumped out of his van (his family was wondering what the H he was doing). I don't want to get into anymore details in this post, but needless to say, JKSD received much more than just Haynesworth's autograph. I believe the injury occurred when Al put JKSD in the reverse tomahawk position and he strained his knee. Wild stuff.

I heard that Fat Albert actually "porked" JKSD twice...Once in the way Scott so vividly described. Next he actually poured barbecue sauce all over JKSD and proceeded to slow roast then eat him...Hence explaining JKSD's recent disappearance from the blog world.
