Reports are that he is retiring...again. Enough already. Just go and be done with it. Either that or don't make an announcement until you are sure. Or just say that you don't want to go to training camp, you don't want to practice, you will only suit up on Sundays and play the games and still want $7+M/year.
It's funny because amidst the reports, many players in the NFC North are still skeptical and won't believe it until the season starts and Favre isn't there.
The guy is an egomaniacal arse. We'll see if he actually goes this time or plays more mind games.

Farve was just pissed because Haynesworth was getting all the press. Maybe we can get Sonny Jurgensen to say that he's thinking of coming out of retirement, also. Ok, maybe he's too old....how about Doug Williams or Mark "Dippin" Rypien? Notice that I didn't name Theismann, cause he sucked even before he broke his leg. There is an unofficial theory that Ihave that side arm quarterbacks (i.e., Theismann and Colt Brennan) suck. Maybe they should play baseball instead.
Maybe he's thinking that he'll wait and see if the Vikings make the Super Bowl and then sign at halftime so he can take credit for the entire season. Knowing him though, the Vikings would be winning by 5 with 2 seconds left and have it on the opposition's goal line and instead of taking Childress's call of kneeling, he would audible and do a roll out pass play, throw across the field for an INT returned for a game winning TD, furthering his legacy as an egomanical arse.
Heard this on ESPN980...The latest report is that Favre was throwing and working out at the local high school. He apparently stated that he's interested in returning to the Vikings if his ankle responds well. Also, the Vikings have reportedly offered him $7 million more ($20 million total) to come back this year.
He's coming back. All the retirement talk was completely premature.
I told you he just wanted to get in the news. He's another arrogant asshole.
