JC - Week 5

Week 5 and JC had a HUGE game against the Lions. I will no longer compare him to Rexy since Rexy is no longer the starter. Also, there was no Week 4 update since the 'Skins had a bye week.

That said, here is where JC ranks:
Ranking: 17 (up 10 slots)
QB Rating: 84.3 (up 14.7)
Completion %age: 59.3% (up 6.9%)
Yards: 869 (up 248)
TDs: 4 (up 2)
INTs: 3 (no change)
Yards per attempt: 7.69 (up .30)
Sacks: 5 (no change)
Huge game equals huge improvements. Certainly, things can change drastically if he has a bad game but you have to love that he has been improving every week. He has only had 11 starts in his career but you can already sense the team gravitating towards him. He has confidence in himself and the team feels it and is feeding of that confidence. He is quickly making this his team and with continued stellar play, he will become the face of the team. JC also just seems like a good, down to earth guy. Looks like we have finally found ourselves a QB.
Hopefully his strong play will continue.

How pitiful is the Lion's defense? If Randle El hadn't pulled his hammy, Jason's numbers would have been even better. I watched some of the post game and even vets like Keenan "You Should Have Kept Me 12 Years Ago" McCardel said that Jason has the right characteristics to eventually be the leader of the team.

The luck of the Cowboys? They turn the ball over six times, have two pics returned for TDs and they still win. This may not be the Skins year to win the division.
