ESPN Power Rankings - Week 11

Skins - #26 - had the bye week so no change.
Pears - #27 - down six spots as they got pummeled giving up 50+ points for the second straight game.
Puckers - #5 - up three spots as they looked like they could have put up 80 points on the Pears.
Iggles - #4 - no change. Beat up a disappointing Carolina team where Cam looked like he was stoned.

About right.  Big game this week with the Puckers facing the Iggles.  Should give us some idea about how good these teams really are.

I like the rankings.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Green Bay can do against a quality opponent. I am not convinced Mark Sanchez is the answer for Philly. The Packers have the 9th ranked pass defense. If we get some pressure on him, he will make mistakes. To win this game, the Packers have to reduce Connor Barwin and Jeremy Maclin into non factors, and the defense has to get pressure on Sanchez.

I like Aaron Rodgers and the Packer receivers vs the Eagles pass defense as well. The Eagles are ranked 18th against the pass. So long as we can block out Barwin and give Rodgers some time, the offense should be able to move the ball and put up points.

The scary part of this game is that the Packers haven't been able to stop the run. They are ranked 30the in the league. While Shady McCoy hasn't been the same as he has been in recent years, its the kind of match up that could spark him. I'm interested in seeing where Clay Matthews lines up. I think he is more dynamic as an ILB. It makes him less predictable and be able to cover more of the field and be more involved in stopping the run.

Agree with most everything you said.

It's all about offense in this game.

I don't believe much in Sanchize. He had a decent game and everyone is all of a sudden in love with the guy. Great P.R. move by him to go out and get a cheesesteak after the game. He wants to be loved and wants desperately to erase his legacy of the "butt fumble." No surprise that people love him all of a sudden as that's what people do. As quickly as they have grown to love him, if he struggles on Sunday, the same people will be wishing for Foles to get healthy.

Rodgers is by far the superior QB and will be interesting see how he does against the Philly D. Philly does have some pass rushers and GB's O line is not great but Rodgers can make up for a lot of deficiencies with his talent.

Agree that Matthews was much more dynamic at the inside LB position. He is almost strictly a pass rusher from the outside. He showed his versatility on the inside. Should be interesting to see how they use him.

Sanchize has an opportunity to make Philly fans forget more about Foles on Sunday. I don't think he is going to do that as I think we will see him make a few costly mistakes.
