ESPN Power Rankings - Week 16

Skins up four spots to #8.

Pears fall three spots to #14.

Puckers hold at #6.

Looks fine to me.  NFC playoffs are still open for several teams (Skins, Pears, Queens, Gigantics, Assboyz).  Each week brings continued excitement.  Still, it seems like all the teams in the NFC have their flaws and who knows what will happen in the playoffs.

I still think SF is the most complete team.  However, I don't like the starting of Kapernick.  Again, he has more upside than Smith but Smith has more experience and veteran presence on a veteran team.  Will be interesting to see how this plays out.  I also think Seattle is very tough but not sure if they are quite there yet.  Puckers are not as strong as in previous seasons but still a very tough team and Rodgers is as good as there is and they are a team that has been there and knows what it takes.  However, their O line is not good and their defense can be suspect.

Look out! We will be getting healthy any week now. the packers are dispatching teams week in and week out. Come playoffs i think the Packers will take it to the next level and be unstoppable. Also, if the bears drop 3 spots, it only makes sense that the Packers gain atleast 1 spot from last week. all good though, flying low is fine with me.

Power rankings are subjective so it is more for entertainment and I don't put too much stock in it so I don't worry too much how much my team rises/falls. Still, again from an entertainment standpoint, it is nice to see your respective team climb the charts.

As far as the Puckers, they have been winning but they certainly haven't been dominating like they have over the last couple of seasons. They are still a good team and, as mentioned, Rodgers is as good as they come and they benefit from being a veteran team that have all played with each other for extended time so they have built up that chemistry. Still, they aren't dominant and they have weaknesses particularly on the O line and areas of the defense.

I have mentioned for a few weeks now that the NFC seems wide open so as long as you get in, I think any team has a decent shot at advancing.

These last couple of weeks should be fun.
