In an expanded field of 20 teams, JMU eked its way into the playoffs. We also have our starting QB back after being out the bulk of the season due some disciplinary action (funny how he is back for the playoffs).
JMU beat Eastern Kentucky on a last second FB to pull out a 20-17 win.
This Saturday we play #2 North Dakota St. We don't typically travel that far so will be interesting to go out there. I like our chances as the CAA is widely considered the strongest conference in the FCS so not sure how many tough teams North Dakota St. has faced. Also, I anticipate it to be cold up there which suits are game of strong running and solid defense.
It's a big game for us and hopefully we can keep this thing going and advance.
