Pear notes

As Robs is a big Pear fan, wanted to highlight a few notable Pear moves:

1. They allowed Olin Kreutz to leave over $500K. Tough thing to do given that he is a solid leader in the locker room. They brought in Spencer from Seattle but apparently there have already been several muffed snaps. It will take some time.

2. Marion Barber brought in. Not sure what this means for Chester "the Molestor" Taylor. They just brought him in last season so will be interesting.

3. Roy Williams added. Guy thinks he is an NFL superstar but he is overrated. Perhaps reuniting with Martz will be just what he needs to resurrect his career. Love how he drops the ball or does something stupid and then just gets that big grin on his face.

4. O line will be interesting. They were bad last year and doesn't look much improved this year. J'Marcus Webb (I believe a 7th round pick) is going to take the most difficult position at LT. The guy they envisioned to be their answer, Chris Williams, may not even start. They could certainly use some help here.

There have been a few other moves but these are probably the ones of most interest. Of course, things will really hit the fan when Jeff Cutler starts showing up on Cavallari's MTV show The Hills.

Im predicting Clay Matthews will have a record breaking 26 sacks this year, and 8 of them will be against Cutler and the Pears

Honestly, I don't care. The Skins are 6-2 vs the Pears in their last 8 meetings, which is all that matters. Despite Robs' blind faith in Jay George, analyzing the Pears isn't really interesting because they can't even beat the lowly Skins.

11-5 - NFC North Champs, got to the NFC title game.

Our O-line will be better and Cutler will be better in his second year in the Martz system.

Super Bowl!

Honestly dude, you think the Bears should have paid Kreutz $4.5M? You are an idiot if you think that is remotely fair. Of course, that is why you are a Deadskin fan. You love to overspend for stiffs.

He must have been surprised that no one wanted him and he ended up taking $2M in New Orleans.

The early part of the season will determine how good/bad the Pears will be. It's a tough early part of the season and if they struggle, it will be a long season for Pear fan.

Every game counts - early and late. The schedule looks tough on paper. All I know is the Bears are awesome. CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
