Andre Carter to Pats
Interesting because the Pats seem to be revamping their D line with older vets. First, Haynesworth. Then Shaun Ellis from the Jets and now Carter. I like Carter and he is going to another 3-4 defense. However, that 3-4 does show multiple looks and does have defenses with 4 down linemen so it could work with Carter.

They will be going mostly to a 4-3 base and then mixing in the 3-4 on passing situations. You know Belichek has a plan.
I don't doubt that he will be used properly otherwise they would not have brought him in. He certainly can't play in a traditional 3-4 defense so there would be no reason to bring him in to fit that kind of defense.
