I heard the real reason for the break up was because Cutler was having an affair...WITH GREG OLSEN!!!
Actually, I am disappointed because marrying her would have just killed his season. All the drama would have been great fodder for the media and fans.
He probably had to spend more time with her during the lockout and then realized how big a pain she was especially as she was trying to plan the perfect wedding. Again, this is probably best for Bear fan as Jay George can now focus on football. Will be interesting to see if he goes back to Cavallari and how that story plays out over the course of the season.

The marriage wouldn't have worked anyway. It would have been a crazy long-distance deal. Now he can party with Greg.
