Carter and Dock released

No real surprise. Carter was the face of players not able to fit the 3-4 scheme on last year's defense. He just can't play in this defense. He had solid years here and hopefully he lands some place that fits his skills.

Similarly, Dock is too big and not athletic enough in the zone blocking scheme. I like Dock but he is huge and built more for power running than running down field. He is a young guy and can certainly help a team out. Wish him the best.

Carter and Dock would be good for the Bears. We need another rush end in the 4-3 and Dock can play. I never really understood the benching of Dock.

Of course you would like those guys if they were on the Pears. You were never a fan of Carter but you would be if he was on the Pears. Another example of your biases.

I like Dock and would have liked to have seen more of him. It was clear though in I believe the Titan game last year that the running scheme doesn't ideally match his size. Still, I would be for keeping/playing him.

I would use Carter as a rush end on third downs in a 4-3 at a bargain price - that is different than making him a high priced every down end. No contradiction.

Dock seems like he can still play. He just fell out of favor because Lichtensteiner knows how to blow Shanny.

Hmm...So the untalented players on the Redskins are suddenly talented enough for you to want to bring them to your team.

The next time you start criticizing the talent on the Skins, I'll be sure to ignore you.
