CEAFOD Playoffs - Round 1

Very tough day for the favorites. Most surprising/disappointing is it looks as though Scott will lose to Mark's Maniacs.

Scott has been pretty dominant the entire season and was even projected to get 140 points but looks like he will score about half of the projected amount and lose out. Scott is Green Bay Packer player loaded and a 7-3 loss to the Lions yesterday certainly didn't help his cause.

Robs is out. He had a strong early showing with P. Manning and Garcon having strong games Thursday night but struggled after that and was not able to score more than 100 points.

Deepie looks like he will hold on for a win and advance to the next round.

Darren McFadden may be the end for me. The guy has a career game yesterday and accounts for 41 points himself. I find myself down 118 to 83 going into tonight's games. I do have Arian Foster, Ahmad Bradshaw, Sydney Rice, and the Raven defense tonight while my opponent has Andre Johnson still left to play. I need for my guys to really step up for me to have a chance. With my 4 guys, I have to pick up 35 points plus any points that Johnson gets.

We'll see what happens.

You guessed it, I'm pissed! What bullsh%&! Mark doesn't even have a winning record. This has to go down as one of the hugest upsets ever, right there with the US beating the USSR in hockey in the Olympics. Aaron Rodgers received a concussion in the second quarter and that's it. He actually had -1 point. If Deepie gets any money, he needs to take us out for drinks at least!

Yes, as I was refreshing my computer yesterday and watching the score of your game, I literally said out loud, "DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?! YES!!!!"

I'm not surprised. This is the way it goes. Scott's been living large for a long time on the arm of Rodgers. It wasn't going to last.

Just didn't get the production I wanted from my guys. I actually wanted to switch from Knox to Nicks - and I would have done it had I been home yesterday morning.

I'll be mad if Nicks ends up with a big game that would have won me the game this week.

Tough break for Scott. All I can say is, you have to diversify your portfolio...Same goes for Robs. It must have been fun piling up all of those points as the Packers and Bears were winning games though. I was getting jealous.

Thanks to JKSD for taking out my nemesis, Paladins United. It's shaping up nicely for my team of misfits to continue my run at the CEAFOD title.

Don't tell me about diversification! Do you remember when I kicked your team's ass twice this season? I had a great strategy to use Rivers and Rodgers depending on who they played in a particular week. Rodgers got hurt in the second quarter when they were playing the lowly Lions. Maclin only got 2 points when he was having huge games for weeks. Hillis had a bit of a down game also. I hope JKSD wins the whole thing!

Haha! I felt sorry for Scott...until now. Tough luck, buttercup. See you and your strategy next season!

Next season, I want to push for some of the money to be distributed to the team with the best record during the regular season!
