Steve Johnson blames God for the dropped ball

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson dropped a game-winning touchdown in the end zone Sunday in overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Anyone who has ever tossed the pigskin around in the back yard dreams of that scenario - minus the fumble, of course.

Johnson did not even have to work for the ball. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's pass was text-book perfect, landing squarely in Johnson's hands.

After the game, Johnson's twitter account filed this faithy tweet:

@StevieJohnson13

I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO...

It was an easy catch and would have been a great way for Buffalo to end that game so it's too bad that he dropped it. It happens. This guy has come out of no where to become arguably Buffalo's best skill player. Still, he seems like a pretty emotionally charged guy. His post game conference was interesting too. I give him credit for having a conference. He looked kind of dazed and confused by what had just happened. I watched it on CBS's post game highlights and I think Shannon Sharpe ended Johnson's clip with an, "Okaaaaay." It was actually a pretty funny response.

Anyways, to blame God for the dropped ball is pretty silly.

God works is mysterious ways. Maybe this was His way of humbling Johnson for having some ego issues.

I agree. There are plenty of lessons to be learned from the dropped ball.

To blame God and get angry at him is silly.

I agree. If you blame Him and get angry, He might get mad at you and make you drop another pass, Steve.
