Favre's shoulder hurts

Brett Favre said that he now has pain in his right shoulder that could be related to surgery he had to repair a partially torn biceps tendon following the 2008 season.

Favre said it could be a similar injury or the rotator cuff -- shaved during the previous surgery -- could be damaged.

Favre said he would contact Dr. James Andrews, who performed surgery to repair the partially torn biceps tendon in '08, and expects he will be asked to submit to an MRI. Favre discussed the pain with Vikings doctors but they have not been involved in his recovery from that injury and lack familiarity.

It's funny how his pain seems to directly coincide with a loss in which he plays poorly.

Excuses, excuses from Grandpa Favre. Time to hang it up old man.

Your "Aw shucks, my shoulder was sore" nonsense has worn itself out.

Time to go back to his porch in Mississippi. He can throw passes at the local high school and text pictures of his ding dong for jollies.

Actually - I hope he is still the starting QB for the Queens when the Bears head to Minnesota. I doubt he will be, but I would rather face him than T-Jack.
