Eagles to Trade McNabb to the Bears?

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer:

The recent drafting of quarterback Kevin Kolb could mean that Donovan McNabb will be traded before the 2007 season. A few observers have opined that McNabb will be moved after the coming season. But here's a scenario that has him moving before September. The Bears are ready to win the Super Bowl. This scenario obviously depends on two things. One, that McNabb is physically ready to play on Week 1 of the 2007 season. Two, that Chicago is convinced McNabb is their best available QB option.

Might be a good pickup depending on what the Bears were willing to give up. The Bears could use a proven veteran QB that knows how to lead the team. McNabb seems like a good fit in Chicago. Still, the Bears should not give up too much for him.

I'd love to see that happen. I doubt the Bears will give up too much for him given his injuries over the last couple of years.

But, McNabb grew up in Chicago and it would be a great story.

Won't happen unless McNabb agrees to play for some wooden nickels and a slice of Chicago deep dish pie (with no toppings) given the cheapness of the Bears org.
