Still, it looks like the team is really gelling. Soriano has been a different player since moving to his more comfortable LF position. I think that was really good for him. Surprisingly, Zambrano has been the weak link of the pitching staff. Marquis, Lilly, and Hill have all been outstanding. The bullpen is strong and the players are saying that they are really enjoying this season so far. They have said that it feels like little league.
I think they worked out some kinks in the first season and I look for them to have a big year.
I think the weather played a big part also. Soriano was probably too cold to bat. I am only partially joking.
I think Zambrano will improve. He sucked in game one against the Nats, but he pitched well his last time out. I think it was 7-8 innings with only one run given up.
