NFL Power Rankings - Week 2

Many sites have their power rankings but I go with ESPN.  Here are the rankings going into week 2:

Skins: 28 down three from previous week.
Pears: 18 down eight from previous week.
Puckers:  8 down two from previous week.
Texans:  22 up five from previous week.
Iggles:  4 up three from previous week.

There will be a lot of fluctuation in the first few weeks but these rankings make sense.

Skins - about right. We need to show something before the analysts can give some respect. Losing to the Texans and looking mostly inept in the process doesn't help.

Pears - 10 was too high for a non-playoff team from a year ago. Like the Skins, these guys need to prove themselves...Not sure if that's possible with Jay George at the helm.

Puckers - Got smacked by the best team in football. Still a top 10 team.

Texans - who cares?

Iggles - WTF?

Good assessment.

Skins could easily have won the Texans game but VERY costly turnovers deep in our territory and their territory did us in. Need to show something against a decent Jax defense. Will be an interesting game at FedEx.

Pears could take another plunge this week as they are going to SF to play the 49ers as they open up their new stadium in prime time. We all know what Cutler does in prime time. He throws picks. He LOVES to throw picks! The Pear defense is porous and with the injuries on their O line and Marshall and Jeffery, they could be running into a buzzsaw.

Puckers are okay but injuries to an already suspect O line could really hurt them. Also, Julius Peepers does not look good.

Texans - agree...who cares?

Iggles will have a good one on MNF against the Colts. The Dolts secondary isn't great so we'll see if Foles can pick them apart.
