Tommie Harris released

The guy has underachieved the last couple of years and his performance and production has dramatically decreased over the years. That said, would love for the Skins to bring him in and sign him. Don't overspend but the guy will only be 28 going into this season. He has been a Pro Bowl player and I can only assume if the guy has any heart, he would want to show that the Pears disrespected him by releasing him. He could certainly improve our D line.

I like the guy and think he still has some football left in him, but he has no real fire in Chicago. They have younger, better players and it is time for him to move on.

Knee and hamstring injuries have decimated his career. He was dominant at his position early in his career.

I wouldn't mind adding him on the cheap and allow him the opportunity to resurrect his career. However, I wouldn't want to overspend on this guy as he may be done.

The problem with Harris is he is lazy. He had enormous talent and while he was healthy he could really be a disruptive force. But, he never really was much for rehab and he hated to practice so he didn't develop to his full potential. It is a common story.

If that is the case, if he has any type of pride left, he would want to prove that the Pears made a mistake and that he is still a force on the D line.

He is young enough where he should be in the prime of his career and can really make a difference.

I'd love to see it because he is a talent. But I don't expect him to do anything. He is like a lot of guys who can't sustain themselves because they don't have the internal drive to be great.
