The guy is 31 years old and coming off of a solid year. I like Moss but he really isn't a true #1 WR. He also drops a lot of passes and then just taps his chest as if to say, "my bad." I'd like to keep him but would not want to spend the kind of money that he is probably looking for.

If we can retain him for half the cost, then keep him. Like you said, he's getting older and he drops a lot of passes. He needs to be the #2 option and if Malcolm Kelly comes on strong next season like we all expect him to, maybe 'Tana can play at his true spot.
I won't mind if he goes though. He's another remnant of a bad era in 'Skins history.

I'm not sure I am banking on Kelly. He can't seem to stay healthy. I would like to see what he can do with extended playing time. However, I imagine we will draft a WR or bring one in via FA. I would rather spend $$ there as opposed to Moss. Releasing Moss goes with Allen's MO. He is not afraid to release popular but aging players.
Will be interesting to see what the WR corps looks like next year.
They just reported that Malcolm Kelly slipped on a patch of ice and tore his ACL, MCL, and Achilles, as well as fractured his tibia, fibula, and knee cap. Oh and he also stubbed both his big toes and has turf toe on both feet. He is out for next year.
There is an update to his status. Apparently both his arms snapped off, he went blind, and he grew a tail. Might be hard for him to get on the field next year.
Unfortunately he just died from the trauma of all of these injuries. But the Deadskins are going to keep him for one more year - just in case. Snyder is insisting so that he can recoup some of the millions he has spent on the guy.
Snyder is going to have a "Touch a real Deadskin" event which allows fans the opportunity to actually touch a dead Redskin (MK).
He is "only" charging $50 a person (plus $25 for parking).
The sad thing is that there are Deadskin fans who would actualy pay for this B.S.
