I suppose when you have hair like him and play the sport that you play where players are allowed to pull you down by your hair (as Larry Johnson did to Polamalu a couple of years back) it is necessary. Whatever.
He looks like a freak. Notice that's a dandruff shampoo who sponsored him. How do they know if he more than just dandruff in there. There may be a squirrel or two.

What a pain in the arse to wash. Just shave it off and save yourself 3 hours of grooming per day.
