Strange how quickly things can change in the NFL. In the offseason, the Iggles parted ways with their perennial Pro Bowl QB of the last decade, Donovan McNabb, and sent him packing to a divisional rival. They handed over the keys to Kevin Kolb and were entrusting him to be the guy that follows the guy who owns most every Iggle quarterbacking stat. They were pumping up Kolb and the national media even joined in saying the Kolb had what it took to play in the NFL. He had good accuracy and this and that.
In the first half of his first start this season, Kolb suffered a concussion. In comes Michael Vick who tears it up and nearly beats the Packers. Last week, Vick played very well putting up 30+ points as the Iggles beat the Lions. Kolb got healthy and it seemed like the job was his and he would get the start this coming week but today Andy Reid stated that Vick is going to get the start. Now there are reports of many teams inquiring about trading for Kolb.
That's the funny thing about the NFL. Things can change drastically for players, coaches, and the entire team in one week.

Sounds like the GM's are playing too much fantasy football! Here again, after so many OTAs and preseason games, why are the Iggles in this situation. Maybe Andy Reid was asked by the owner to play Vick. If you go back in the blog records you will see that I called it that Vick would be starting by week 3 as I pat myself on my back and attempt a double reach around. Think about it....
If anyone could/would be so bold (and weird) as to try the double reach around, it would be you.
Well, you have to be very flexible. Perhaps after you do P90X, you will be able to do it.
Going w/Vick is the right thing to do. He gives them the best chance to win. Look, Vick was sacked 6 times against the Lions. The line is injured and as a result is porous. I'm sure the players are in Vick's camp, but when he gets hurt - and he will likely get hurt behind that line - Kolb will be ready.
