WIZARDS WIN THE LOTTERY!!!!

Of course this means that they will bypass signing John Wall and draft an 8 foot, 120 lbs. project from Sudan.

OR we will draft John Wall only to have him suffer a debilitating knee injury in his first official practice. He will struggle for 4 years with the Wizards and then be traded or signed as a FA by the Detroit Pistons where he will become a perennial all star.

Les Boulez...you gotta love them!

Funny, everyone gets hurt playing for the Wizardz. Maybe they should upgrade their training department. Looks like Leonsis also may change the name and colors of the team. I'm really for it. The Wizardz is a silly name. Don't get me wrong, despite what Juwan Howard liked, the DC Dogs would have been worse.

Wall at point
Gil at 2-guard
Blatche at PF
Miller at SF
McGee at center

That isn't a bad team. There's some decent talent coming off the bench too with Foye, Singleton, and Thornton. The only issue is, will Gilbert buy into the new role he'll have to play with Wall on this team? I don't think he has a choice given the situation. I also don't think it'll be a problem. I get the feeling he'll be serious about the team and will do everything he can to help win. If not, Leonsis won't tolerate his antics and he'll be out of here.

We need to change the name back to the Bullets. Who cares about the message it sends? It's nostalgic and it would bring back those cool uniforms we used to have.

The lineup you put out there is okay.

The other good news is that this is going to be a wild offseason with FA as there are a number of stars available and the Wiz have money to spend.

The only problem is that most of the big name guys want to go to a contender and now they are all saying that they will speak to each other before any of them will make a decision. Almost seems like they will be willing to settle for a little less to play together on a championship team.

The Wiz are still a bit in flux with the new ownership and lack of talent. Will be interesting to see what Leonsis' strategy will be. If he will go the FA route as he did early on with the Caps or if he will be patient and build from within. Either way, I'm glad Leonsis has the team because he seems to be committed to winning and has done an outstanding job with the Caps over the last few years.

That looks like a line up that may be a 7th or 8th seed, which sucks. Those forwards and the center won't match up well against the better teams. They need Bosch or Lebron.

Agree that it would largely be a 7 or 8 seed and a first round exit out of the playoffs.

Bosch would be a great pickup. Don't think he will want to come here though. He wants to go to a championship caliber team.
