Haynesworth not going anywhere

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Haynesworth is not being discussed in any trades and will be with the Redskins this season. Makes sense as the Skins have already sunk millions of dollars in the guy and we need to see some return on investment.

Frankly, I don't care if Haynesworth cries about the 3-4 defense and this and that. He has been paid millions and should shut up and play where ever the coaches tell him to play.

Haynesworth is still the most dominant DT in the game but he needs to prove himself again. The problem is Haynesworth seems like a complainer and cry baby so it will be interesting to see if he is rededicating himself to be a dominant player to show his coaches, teammates, fans, the league or if he will sulk about not getting what he wants.

If I were the Deadskins, there is no way I would trade him until at least next year. I believe they have already given him $30M - they cannot get that back unless he voluntarily gives it back (unlikely).

He is definitely tradeable because his average salary over the next year is a little over $5M/year, so it is reasonable, then it escalates rapidly and he would likely get cut unless he was really performing.

I'm sure he is on the block and if a team really, really gave an unbelievable offer it would happen, but it seems unlikely.

He is not on the block.

He will not be traded unless a team offers up an unbelievable offer.

Haynesworth is a dominant player and we should keep him and play him. However, I don't want him to become a distraction to the team. If he complains and cries and this and that, he should be benched.

I like the attitude that is being built here and we don't want/need anyone to try and disrupt that.
