Robs will try and create issues by Landry's late arrival to OTAs but it isn't any big deal. Landry is one of the most well conditioned players in the league so it's not that big of a deal. Sure, we would have all liked to see him there for unity but OTAs are largely for the younger, more inexperienced players or backups to show what they can do. Training camp is where it really begins. That is when you strap on the pads and get to work.
Landry is kind of immature that way in that I think he will blow off some things he doesn't see as absolutely mandatory. He had an autograph signing about a year ago that he blew off and he gave the same excuse that he did for missing the first part of OTAs -- that he had some personal issues to take care of but he apologized. It's not a big deal so don't worry Robs.

Did you see that Smokin' Al Koken and B-Mitch were fired from 980? I guess Danny Boy didn't like their honest criticism of the team. He never liked Bram Weinstein and would get rid of Czabe if he wasn't the best guy on his sucky radio station. So 980 will have more Larry Michel-type folks and even less honesty.
On the other hand WJFK is going all sports and I'm sure Al and B will end up over there. I'll even bet that WJFK will consistently beat 980 in the ratings.
Didn't hear that. Would have preferred they got rid of Czabe as I hate that guy. He is way too arrogant and thinks he knows everything. It's good to have opinions but he doesn't want to listen to anyone.
I don't listen to too much Sports Talk but Mitchell and Koken seemed like decent guys. Mitchell sometimes thinks a little "old school" and he can be kind of annoying as well but he was decent.
Whatever. As mentioned, I don't listen to too much sports talk but I don't like it if we are just going to get yes men and not guys that have independent thoughts.
Larry Michael is kind of annoying in that he is a Danny lover. I don't have much problem with him as a play by play guy but seems clear he will only speak positively about the 'Skins.
Danny Boy is an arse and I'm sure B and Al will end up with good numbers at WJFK. We'll see if they rip Danny Boy even more now that they aren't working for him.
I still cannot believe Danny Boy showed his face at the Air and Space Museum with Valkyrie. JERK!
Oh yeah, and all Larry Michel's good for is lapping up the man juice that Vinny doesn't get to after he and Danny Boy's "film sessions."
The guy is a tool and he is really irritating. I don't like his voice, he has no charisma, and his play-by-play is average at best. Frank Herzog on his worst day is 1000 times better than Larry on his best day.
I just found this blog and it's f-ing great. I hate Larry Michel and Czabe. There's always CSN for some high quality Skins bashing when they suck.
Landry's a bad ass (who cares about OTAs?). He will never be as good as 21. I really like Horten. Hopefully, he continues to improve.
I can't believe that idiot Stallworth only got 30 days in jail. OJ got nine years and he didn't even kill someone. Well, at least not associated with the sports memorabilia.
Just wait until football season starts. Then the fun really begins.
