CEAFOD B.S.!!!!

I have had an unbelievably frustrating season and this past week is no exception.  Once again, I find myself on the losing end of a close game.  I lost to Robs (the overall high scorer for the week) 140 to 141.  Literally if Eli Manning throws for ONE MORE YARD the game is tied.  Instead, I suffer another heartbreaking loss.  I get it.  I get that this is all part of the game but I seriously have not seen such bad luck by a team.

I will end this week at 5-7 and here is a quick recap of some of my more heartbreaking losses:

1. Week 1 - I score 152 points but lose to the overall week high scorer by 11 points.
2. Week 7 - lose by 1 point.
3. Week 8 - lose by 2 points.
4. Week 12 - lose by 1 point.

Those are some of the most heartbreaking but outside of one or two games, I have put up big points and still ended up losing in close games.  I am the overall league high scorer so it is clear I have a consistently strong team but it seems week in/week out I go up against a team that happens to have a tremendous week.

I know this comes across as belly aching but I just had to get this out there.  I just hope I get in the playoffs because I know I have a strong team that can compete and once you get in the playoffs everyone starts back at 0-0 and anything is possible.

You want a pity party? 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 --- awwwwwwwwww!

You need to fire your coach and clean out your organization.

I don't want a pity party but I am surprised at how the season has unfolded. I am sitting outside of the playoffs with a 5-7 record and I lead the league in overall scoring. The teams I am lumped with have all scored 200 to 400 points less than me. It's just interesting what has transpired. I get that you may play a team one week who happens to have a great week and you lose but that has been a weekly occurence for me. I can put up 140 or 150 points and still lose.

I get that that is the way the cookie crumbles but it has just been a very interesting and frustrating turn of events.

We go into the final regular season game this week and I need to win and have a couple of teams in front of me lose. We'll see what happens.

If you lose, you are going to have to blow up the organization. Hire Pepper Rodgers and Vinny Cerrato to get this all worked out.

My finger is itching to press the button on my speed dial.

I just lost another key player to injury. DeSean Jackson was placed on IR yesterday. Greg Jennings has been recovering from abdominal surgery all year. LeSean McCoy is still out due to a concussion. Darren Sproles just got back after surgery to repair his broken hand...Deepie just can't catch a break this season.

At least I'm not 5-7 and out of the top 8 though. HAHA!

That's the thing. I have a very good team and a strong bench that have consistently put up big points each week as evidenced by my overall point total. If you look at the teams around me, there is a significant disparity in the amount of points we put up. Here is the difference in the overal points between me and the teams below me:

- Organized Chaos - roughly 250 points.
- Tutti - roughly 360 points.
- FU BIOCH - 410 points.

Even the teams right above me:

Scars and Stitches - 210 points.
Thrizzle - 187 points.
Lambeau Leaper - 125 points.

It's clear I have a solid team. It's pretty amazing the kind of luck I have had all season. Again, I understand the one or possibly two weeks where you go up against a team that has an outstanding week but that has happened to me all season. I have put up 140 and 153 points and lost games. I have put up nearly 150 points and barely won.

Just as I have scored the most points, I have given up the most points. It's really interesting the kind of bad luck I have had.

Anyways, I have a projected 143 points this week. I need the win and hope for either Thrizzle, LL, or S&S to lose this week.

Again, if I get in the playoffs, we all start at 0-0.
