Briggs to 'Skins?
Okay, so the Post is saying that there is a 50-50 chance Briggs will come to the ‘Skins. I am not really for the trade as Briggs seems like a cry baby and is selfish. Also, I believe he has talent but is also a beneficiary of playing in the Chicago defense AND of course next to Brian Urlacher who is probably the best defensive player in the game. Still, if we make the trade, I like the trade for what it is. The ‘Skins seem unwilling to give up McIntosh OR any other draft pick which I agree with. The ‘Skins would trade for Briggs and swap first round picks. Thus, they would end up with the 31st pick as opposed to the 6th pick. At that slot, we could still get another solid defensive player to help out.
Additionally, there is talk of the ‘Skins trying to squeeze more out of the Bears which pleases me even more. I also like the discussion of the ‘Skins moving to more of a Chicago style of defense. Any change has to be better than what we had last year so I am for it.
Still, I’m sure there is a lot of discussion going on. Some serious and some just for posturing and unpredictability and to create further discussion with other teams. It is all a poker match where you have to know when to bluff and when to call. Whatever, it’s on tomorrow and we’ll see how it shakes down. Bottom line, the Bears suck (and swallow) and the Redskins RULE!!!!

Schilling's Sox Real?
I know Curt Schilling is an egomaniac. He loves to voice his opinion on anything and everything. If the guy had the opportunity, he would probably like to be miked during a game he is pitching and call his own game. Still, I don’t think he is so self absorbed as to create a “Natural” type of moment and paint his sock for the drama. Thoughts?
Mark Prior done?
Those that know me know that I am a deepie Cubs fan. It's a shame what has become of Mark Prior. Considered at one time to be a perennial Al Star and in 2003 was 5 outs from taking the Cubbies to the World Series, his career is now in jeopardy. He has been plagued by injuries and just went under the knife again and will be out of action for another year. Feel bad for the guy. He is 27 years old but has been hobbled by injuries and who knows what will become of him. Hopefully he can come back and have some type of career. Until then....GO CUBBIES!!!! SOX ARE AWESOMENESS 2007!!!! SCHILLING'S SOCK WAS FOR REAL!!!!! YANKS ARE IN THE CELLAR OF THE EAST!!!!! A-ROD SUX (unless of course he comes to the Cubs in which case I will go in for my gender reassignment because I will fall madly, deeply in love with him)!!!!!

Question for all...
Assuming there is reincarnation and you could not come back as a human, I would return as a hawk.
What would you be? I already know Rob's answer...a hemorroid on my hawk body. He would just have to continue to be a pain on my arse.

Gym Etiquette
I am not a huge gym rat or anything but I believe there is a certain etiquette that should take place in the locker room. Personally, seeing naked men in the locker room makes me physically ill so I don’t understand why men feel the need to walk around fully naked like they are in their own bathroom. There is a guy I would see at the gym who was around 50 and looked to have a nice professional job. When he was getting ready to go back to work, he would stand in front of the mirror in the main aisle and put on his undershirt, his dress shirt, his tie, comb his hair and do all of this with no underwear on! WHY?!!! The thing was you could not even see his dork amongst his pubes so he wasn’t trying to impress anyone. So again, WHY?!!!
Is it me or do you all also find the above passage strange and just the whole idea of fully naked men strolling around the locker room, having conversations with other fully naked men strange?

Free Pass?
I am married and love my wife but if given a free pass, I would take it on Scarlett Johannsen. There is something delightfully naughty and dirty about her that makes me think it would be a hell of a ride. If given the opportunity, that’s when I turn the cap around and put on the ole’ high school football cleats and go to work. That’s when I turn from jkd to The MANGALA and start the ravaging.
Who is your pass?

Farting/Diarrhea.
Why is farting/diarrhea such a taboo subject to discuss? Burping seems more socially acceptable but farting is not. If farts smelled good, would people mind? Same with diarrhea. People will say that they have an upset stomach or that they were nauseous but somehow refuse to mention that they have/had diarrhea. Can someone explain to me why this is so taboo to discuss? Why people? WHY?!!!
Urlacher sides with Briggs!
On the nation wide Dan Patrick radio show, Bears superstar LB, Brian Urlacher, voiced his support of his teammate Lance Briggs in his holdout. Urlacher shunned the Bears brass and believes Briggs should get paid.
Urlacher was quoted, "I'm on Lance's side," Urlacher told Patrick. "I think he has played his way into a new contract. I think he has played his way on the field and, whether he gets [a new deal] in Chicago or somewhere else, I think he needs to be rewarded for what he did on the field."Asked if he expected to be playing alongside Briggs when the season opens, Urlacher answered, "Right now, I don't think he will be there."
No question the Bears players realize the Bear management is cheap. They choose to operate under a different model and one can't say the model is bad as they made the Super Bowl last year and should again compete for the NFC Championship this year. HOWEVER, with success comes egos and recognition and players will want to get paid just as Briggs does. Players have performed and they deserve to be paid market value. The question will be will the Bears brass pay or let them walk. The window for the Bears winning the Super Bowl (or any team for that matter) is small. If they don't win it this year, their time may be over. We'll see.
Still, interesting to see the players support Briggs and not management.

BEER! I LOVE IT!!!!
Yes all, I have become a beer snob. Back in the good ole' days, I was comfortable with the cheapest and nastiest piss water I could afford. I could be happy with an Olympia, Natural Light, Schlitz, Milwaukee Best, Busch, or any mixture of that combination as long as I got my freak on. As those of you who know me, I spent the better part of the 1990-1992 time frame in a drunken haze.
Well, NO MORE!!! I am a snob and proud of it. I have come to appreciate the finer beers our world has to offer. I am a connosieur you could say of fine beer. A nice frosty Coors Light in its protective can is a sure fire way for me to hop on the love train. Okay, I continue to joke (as is my nature -- it is a protective mechanism for me to not deal with my one flaw).
Truly, I enjoy all types of beer. My goal is to seek and find the world's most perfect beer and I implore all of you to join me in this quest. Right now, I tend to enjoy Samuel Adams, Corona Light/Modelo Especial, Blue Moon, and Heineken Light.
If you others are snobs as well and know of a great beer that you can tell me about (or a great beer story), please pass along so that I can continue my quest for the "world's most perfect beer."
